Novogold Seeds Pvt. Ltd. is one of the few seeds companies in India to have its own Research and Development wing. R & D includes both lab and field testing facilities established over on area of 122 acres in the Pune and Phaltan districts of Maharashtra state. The research thrust is on the needs of farmers and agricultural communities as a whole by increasing crop productivity leading to better economic growth.

The research wing has an active germplasm collection of about 7000, including different economically important crops. Research faculty have scientists with different specialization, with enhanced knowledge of different crops, with the ability and skills to work with the latest technology for varietal development.

We are best in combining Local Know how with cutting edge technology. We are always combining genetics, horticulture, and Biology, with traditional breeding methods to the greatest extent, sloughing back a substantial portion of the company’s funds into research and development.

We use the services of the finest labs in India to evaluate our results along with field trials at companies R&D centres. Our R&D and product development, sales and marketing teams are composed of experts in the field with rich industry knowledge and backgrounds. They closely collaborate to develop a diverse product pipeline that brings new varieties to the market that provide added-value to growers. In addition to our R&D Pune Center, we also have a regional office with testing facilities , Which will provide us an opportunity to expedite the selection process for new hybrids.

Strong Production Team

We have a strong seed production team which performs periodic field inspections throughout the growing season in order to make sure the purity and quality of the seed as per T/L recommendations.
